Just would like to know how everyones birds are copeing with the fireworks, do they seem more stressed or not really?

Aye our birds are just taking it in their stride, but like you our  staffie is going about the house whining.

Couple of years ago someone nearby setting off fireworks when my birds were out spooked them a bit but got them in OK and they seemed quite settled inside the loft. Next door neighbour also had quite a display right behind the loft last year, and again they seemed OK, tho I was a bit peeved.  >

Birds all locked up and seem to be ok, however my wee spaniel is having a terrible time, be glad when it,s all over :-/

Aye so will I, great for the kids but they'll be going off for weeks yet.

Mine were suprisingly ok last night and the night before - considering the neighbours all around me where setting them off and the rugby club nearby had a massive display that lasted from 5.30 till midnight.

im sick of the stupid things the sooner there banned the better why dont people just go to organised displays,my trained gundogs hate them,old people get frightened,most animals hate them there dangerous kids think there clever throwing them at people,cars and buildings.last week on the news some joker put a lit firework in a shop the shop owner manged to get it out but his young daughter still ended up in hospital,after all that  enjoy your bonfire night and  be careful

they have just had 1/4 bottle per drinker i will not need to go near them till wedensday let them sleep it off

mine seem ok let ma hens out for a fly at half 4 just before I fed them and they were out flying for about 20mins then came in straight away as soon as i shouted on them ;D. But my collie hates them

Is it not just the fact that birds hearing is not as sensative as the dogs, or a different sound range efects them

So all in all the birds are copeing better than the dogs and the adults. ;D ;D ;D
