Remember the thread about amtrack delivering the runts and the white one came in an awfull mess as they had been fighting in the box, well the white one is him as you can see he is a whole lot better and looking well.

Does the runt fly with a thud ?

I can't imagine them being graceful in flight - are they?

They are very good flyers as they are out all the time we are at home, not the quickest bird but enjoys circling with the rest, bigger but same proportion as a racer.

When they land on the board you know it is them ;D ;D ;D

My runts were quite alot bigger than your white shown

There are 2 types of Runt

Quote from Stephen Preese Feathered World Magazine

"The American Giant Runt has a shorter bulkier frame designed to make it look robust and stocky its like the difference between the two likened to that of a Bull mastiff and a Greyhound both powerful and impressive.

I love the larger yet graceful beauty of the European Runt, yet our American Cousins have created a very impresive pigeon indeed up to 4 1/2lb in weight but i prefer the more longer form of the original runt in my opinion the American Runt lacks the longer graceful beauty that can be seen in the European Style Runt"
