The grizzle Van Loons are the Silver Shadow lines. I think Terry Maccarthy in Tilbury has raced these with great success. I really don't know where the grizzles come from as i had this family and there was not a grizzle to be seen!!!

They are a very versatile family and won from 60 to 480 miles for me, they are also a great cross for "pure" strains.

Mine were the old planet bros lines and from Hudson & Lowe and Staddon Bros. The Boomarang line was particular successful for me.
