Guest TAMMY_1 Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 In the last week in trying to get some of the birds I was giving away delivered with Amtrak the service was the worse service encountered with any courier service, was a shambles and pathetic service, they had taken over a week and a third arranged pick up, plenty phone calls, heard all the excuses under the sun, took 48 hours for a fax to go from one depot to another, each blaming the other repeatedly, wrong address taken down, no boxes, was supplying my own anyway, was just sick fed up with the diabolical service, how they survive in business amazes me. > >

schouwman71 Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 A friend of mine works for amtrak and he ses the trouble with some of the drivers is that they do not put the labels on the boxes and input the info in there hand held computer they have,i always write the address on a piece of paper and stick it on the side of the box,never had any trouble when i have sent them out from this end,has rodders says he got his okay from me.
