Guest Posted December 11, 2007 Report Posted December 11, 2007 You can't win can you? Why people try to bother is beyond me. Do pigeon fanciers want pigeon racing to be classed as a sport or not? or are they to worried about thier funding they can get? Pigeon fanciers thats all they ever think about - money. I have just had a phone call now from the WHU, saying that some people have been on to them, stating that if pigeon racing was to become a sport , facniers couldn't apply for the awards for all grant (from the lottery). But surley if pigeon racing was to become a sport , there are far more benifits and grants they could apply for? Why are people so quick to knock others for trying? But hey there you go, we shall let it run its course http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/PigeonRacing/ . That phone call really made me laugh, they lady was just doing as advised, but what do these people want me to do? Scrap it ? I think not, this is something I have set up and I will let it run , and if you are worried about not getting your grants? Well one word - Tough! There are plenty more grants that you will be able to get if Pigeon Racing gets re-classified! Opinions please????
