Absolutely barbaric and scandalous the way you intend to cull the 'Pigeons' there are many more appropriate ways than maiming innocent birds.

Further if one - like many towns have - put Dove Cotes up and out of way. These have provede effective else where, further they are easy to maintain - pott eggs etc. plus the numbers kept to an easy manageable control.

Further many of us like them,including our children. Again they are good for educating our younger generations ... But just what do I tell my children that makes our children acceptable to the community... slaughter and maim these innocent birds... be a better place eh! Shame on you!

I signed the petition and awaited the verification email, but when it arrived it is a load of letters and numbers that make no sense even if you cut and paste it.  there is no link for me to verify back so it wont add my signature which would have been number 18
