murphy Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 In fact we have a 05 van reet cock from louella ,cost 20 quid when we went for a ride out to louella one sunday morning, he has 2nd club & fed 100 miles 1st club 15th fed 200 miles and 4th club 23rd fed 200 miles plus other minor cards and bred a cock that scored as a youngen and yearling and i think will be one of our best cocks this year. Remember louella buy the best, so you have a good chance of getting some goodens. Murphy

You would be better spending your money on a course of English lessons or install the Google tool bar which has spellcheck on it ;D ;D ;D but apart from that I have never bought young birds off them, have bought a few pairs of older birds which have provided me with some good young birds, felt this was better value as you can breed six young birds and that is the older ones paid for.
ALF Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 you could buy a lot more expensive and they would still be crap a gamble whatever you buy know one guy in my club 5 from the 6 were winners as i said before i have not been lucky or louella pigeons have been unlucky getting me Thats very true bart about the 5 from the 6 winning but Richard got in at the right time and got the 1st y/b's bred off the imports and done very very well with them aswell 8) 8) 8) 8)
