i am going to race from a aviry just thinking what to use for the floor or base  i know wood may not last i was thinking of cement any ideas

you just suggested the best one, as it is outside you either want cement or concrete , something the weather will not affect , that is what I have on my averies, concrete in one  and concrete slabs in the other

thanks thinking of tiles or something to make it easyer to scrape out

you will not get anything easier to scrape out than a flat concrete base

hi this is patsy,, Tony said to put a grill in the bottom of the avery, with a slooping tray

this will make it easier to clean out,, have the tray on a slope .

easier to scrape out.

you would be better put the aviary on a good side  base then putting metal grills down to keep the birds clean

Look out for the plastic coated ones (mine fell out of a skip ;D)they're better still.

Depends if you want them to go on the floor or not, or if you intend to feed them there like. Great idea racing to an avery. As long as a little shelter from bad elements you can't beat it.
