clamp two lenghts of wood along your cut (not too tight)and use a small tooth wood saw and go gently and not rush it !!!!!

                  hope that helps you !!!

I've done exactly the same thing - twice!

If you only have the hacksaw....score along the line you need to saw, then saw each bump in the sheet individually from one side, then when done, turn it over and do the same again making sure you line up the cuts made from the reverse.

It's fiddly and takes a while but it can be done

I HAVE USED A SMALL ANGLE GRINDER TO CUT THIS AND PERSPEX SHEETS, WORKS GREAT AND DOES THE JOB IN SECONDS WITH NO DAMAGE AT ALL. BEST METHOD BY FAR

iv cut it with hack saw and hand saw

[ small gauge ] but its brittle when its cold, best to cut when its warm, room temperature.

thanks everyone for your advise, what sort of blade do i use with a grinder to cut the plastic?

the one for cutting metal is best as it is the thinnest , but an ordinary one for grinding or polishing will do just the same.

Two layers of wide masking tape either side of sheet with cutting line down centre of tape then either fine tooth wood saw or old worn wood saw works

Surely you dont have to be a Whiz Kid to sort this one out. After 55 years in the building game, it's got to be a whizzer. Make it more supple with boiling water if  need be.  ;)
