T_T Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 Have these strong wings caused any damage to any of our lofts. Trellis on mine had a 45 degree tilt but got up on the loft roof and secured it whilst the wind had calmed. Wind gaining momentum again. If we have a tail ender like this in the racing season it will probably be the highest velo ever.
chickadee Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 Nope all is well at ours, even the dovecotes are holding up to the battering winds.

Lennut Tar Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 Not done much for the garden ;D Getting quite used to the weather down here think we hold the record for tornados in this country You probably right all this fresh air will end up killing me just wish someone had told the dog that when she went out for her walk this morning ;D ;D ;D Saw it on TV the other night, (Re storms in your local area) certainly a bit wild & wooley one could say ?????. "Bugger the dog" :P what about the poor old person on the end of the leed trailing behind. I hope she was all right etc, & then we have the poor old pigeons. It appeared that wild to me there !!!!, that the loft plus the pigeons, could have ended up :) across the pond : : : in France, shall we say. Enjoy.
