sammy Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 no effect on me have just started back again
883girl Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 no effect on me have just started back again Me too. Was on Champix to help me stop, and it had a terrible effect on me. I got really depressed, and have never suffered with depression in my life before. I came off it and started up again, though i smoke less now and will try cold turkey again soon. Saw this week that Champix is in the press this week for causing depression and listlessness, so if you know anyone on it, tell them to be careful.

THE PRIEST Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Three weeks smoke free today for me. ( 22 years of smoking) Im using them dodgy tablets (champix) and only side effect i have had is pains in my stomach but ok now. Worst time i have had was the other day when my young bird team started to fly round i could have murdered some one for a smoke. michael.

carlsberg Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 i tried stopping a few times but decided to cut down instead
chickadee Posted March 12, 2008 Author Report Posted March 12, 2008 i tried stopping a few times but decided to cut down instead and once you've cut down the next step is the patches, cause it's really easy once you've cut down.

883girl Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 I was thinking of trying Champix, might give it a miss I'd talk to your doctor. I was told that they had had great success with Champix, but after my experience of it and the bit in the press, think i would rather go cold turkey or try the patches.
