Hi Guys

i know there have been posts such as this before but no good at searching.

Just looking for basic advice/experience on printers compatable with Unikon.

Spoke to Unikon yesterday who were very helpfull they suggested any of the following

Brother HL5240

Samsung ML2070

Oki BZ400

Do any of you use these? if so would you recommend, or do any of you suggest any alternatives, I think the key factor here is not so much the cost of the printer, but the fact I am not endlessly down PC world for new cartridges.

Any help advice would be really appreciated.

Many Thanks

I was in the same boat myself a week ago after our old printer decided to play up,I was told about a site called priterbase .com which I loked at and decided on the OKI B2400 a laser printer. The price is £95.11 but i payed a extra £5 for delivery +vat =£117.63.If you need cables you need to pay extra but that means you dont then have to pay the delivery as its free on purchases over £100.The toner when it needs a new one cost £25 but will print 2000 sheets.

The laser printer we use is a Brother 2070, dont buy a Brother 2030 although it looks the same but slightly cheaper as it doesnt work. We have used ours for a season and a half with the original ink cartridge.

You can get them at Staples, prints very fast and clear.
