Guest Hjaltland Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 You can have all the short sprints in the world but in my opinion they dont measure up to the feeling of getting them from the distance. All the very best, hope you (and your birds) do well.

All the very best, hope you (and your birds) do well. Couldn't agree more Hjatland, have been there and just about done it all with sprinting, but since starting to focus on the Classics, have found it much more enjoyable, the buzz is greater when you get one from a 'lang-un!" Agree with you on this Vic, IT IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT! Good luck everyone competing at the distance races, we are at Bourges approx 570 miles today, and i'm absolutely buzzing! Hope we get one through but i think with a 1pm lib it will be early doors tomorrow morn before anything puts in an appearance in the UNC. Will be at the loft late tonight just in case, and will be there all day tomorrow! Good luck lads and lasses!
Guest Vic Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 Good luck to all you guys, on what appears to be a lousy lib to me. (Time wise) But?
Lennut Tar Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 Good luck to all you guys, on what appears to be a lousy lib to me. (Time wise) But? I will go along with that, "Good Luck" ;) Better to attempt & fail at the distance etc, but your still miles in front ;D ;D ;D in my view, than all those pissy little sprint races that we fly in through out the season :) . PS, & thats coming from someone "PMSL" :P that was 3rd club 400+ pigeons & 9th fed etc with 2000 birds yesterday. Enjoy.
jimmy white Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 all to do with pigeons is fascinating , some like sprint, some like shows , some like distance, some fancy birds ,,,everyone to theirown cup of tea ,,, but personally to see a pigeon drop after flying 600 miles tops the lot
