26 7 08 newark  75mls  4,5,6, club 4,5,6, sec

2   8 08 peterborough 116 mls 3,6, club 3,7, sec

9  08 08 huntingdon 132mls 1,2,3, club 2,3,7, sec

16 08 08 reed 156 mls 1,2,5,6, club 17,19, sec

23 08 08 billericay 191 mls 6,7,8, club 6,7,8 sec

30 08 08 miadstone 217 mls 1,2,4,6,club 1,2,4,6, sec 1,3bird club £200 prize money

06 09 08 eastbourne 243 mls 1,2,3,5,6, club 1,4,5,10 sec  1,4 3bird club £200+50+220 pools=470 prize money

13 09 08 falaise 363 mls 2nd club

13 09 08 newark 75 mls 1,2,3,5,6, club 1,2,3,5,6, sec

20 09 08 peterborough 116 mls 1,2,3,4,5, club 1,2,3,4,5, sec

club birdage up to 300 section birds up to 1300  all this flying to the most westerly loft and on the s east route and wanting 6 to 19 mls overfly  all vanreets :) :)

well done great looking birds,have you always raced van reets or have you raced other familys and if so  which ones ,are these your best family yet  .just interested in what types work for some people . :)

always had the vanreets there are some good and some bad as in all familys  but they are fast easy to condtion andvery tame ours go right thro to 425 mls the odd one has done 516 on the day,ours are mostly mardon they are all a family so some do look alike and they race like a family you dont just get one i ve had as many as 24 drop together,in the last race i only sent 10!!and 6 dropped to take the first five i have toyed with the idea of fetching other strains in but you dont fix what aint broke  :) :)

when you say 'wanting 6 to 19 miles' is that the distance you as a shorter flyer are giving the longer flying lofts ?

no thats roughly what i want of the first drop in the club and the first drop in the sec then i give between 3 and 11 mls to the back dropers hope this exsplains :) :)

absolutely fantastic results,,,   :)  can ask  you  :) what [roughly]  what pecentage of these fantasic winnings , would you put down  to management,,, and what percentage to the breed [van reets]  :)

hi jimmy tough call  but id say 50 50 once you have done your bit thro the week training condtioning motivation ect they do there bit for you on a weekend but the most important factor is the birds have to up to the job if they arnt yuor wasting your time :) :)

yes , i completely beleive you need the tools for the job ;D

 

but sometimes a master craftsman can work his tools better ;D ;D ;D
