REDCHEQHEN Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 the colder the weather the hungrier they are my racers are eating about one and a quarter to one and a half ounces a day each which is as much as they want
b.massey Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Show birds should be fed conditioning seeds and peanuts avery second morning and a good main feed at night. Also a good trick between shows is feeding a dupertive mixture for 3/4 days and as show approaches build up tp 75%dep 25%Mix and then 50 50 and then full mixture. Also a good thing when you feed full mixture is to put cod liver oil on mixture and add Brewers yeast. This brings the birds on no end and they have blown up muscles but not the fatty feel, Nice and solid. But dont make the brewers yeast thing a regular accurance as if used to much it stops taking affect. Just judge it right and the results are brilliant.
