has your club lost members for 2009

We lost three, two hardly flew anyway, and the club sec.

 

We have gained 4 new members, two of which are members on here!

 

.....and the new club sec must be a right glutton for punishment, what an absolute mug he is!! ......But i'll do my best!   LOL

 

"PMSL" Well !!!!!!! their is no need for me to tell you now etc   ;) Dicky Darky, because as you well know   :) there is a fool born every day of the week. "Well Done Thou" for stepping up to the plate   :P . I have always admired the workers in the sport. "Well !!!!!!!!" most of them anyway  ;D ;D.

Now, my situation here, wouldn't have a bloody clue etc at the moment. Will find out in December at the AGM, when we all pay our money etc. I imagine thou it will be around 20 flyers again, with a bit of luck & if the grain prices don't keep going up & up & up  :'( :'( :'(.

the sport/fancy needs to be promoted to get the younger generation interested,three of my children have all shown a keen interest since i introduced them to the birds.

Yeah we lost a few

 

1. Retired through ill health which was a shame as he was a class flyer. Still got a lot of his birds off him and told him he's more than welcome to come down anytime.

 

1 Retired cause he was sh** and couldn't take a novice like me hammering him and is going to fly with another bloke so theres 5 of them in total

 

1 packed in cause he was sick with rising costs and has went in with another one of the big partnerships

 

three members is a lot to lose!

none yet..but its along winter...hopefully got at least 1 loft starting to fly regular next year giving us about a dozen

we have lost know members but the workingmen club we are in is not doing well

the members of the pigeon club are old boys will not move will not use e.t.s i am the one member in the club with e.t.s and they will not let me use it .that was money well spent.ha ha

know club pay out dinner just give to you at a metting. going to be a good 2009.ha ha
