Personally I think the site is for the benefit of all members and not just the hierarchy that some think they are, You have had two great posts that I can think off and a credit to you, but your attitude to some less known or accomplished fanciers is crap

There is a lot of ways that anyone on the site can help others enjoy their pigeons and their time on the site not just you way

Just my opinion :-/

there is no doubt in my mind the person i would nominate would be bruno , and now i,b ,, this man , like him or not, has posted hundreds of helpfull posts on illnesses , inc, avian flue, many many more ,, put a lot of time in this forum to seek out a lot of info, ,, off course there are many more ,  who  have enormously helped pb by the most sensible informative postings also the mostly unseen ones the fifer who does a lot of unseen work to keep this forum running , [hard work ] shadow, another who hasnt been mentioned , usualy short and to the point , but rarely wrong   far too many to mention , tony c a lot of sense and a great humour , just far to many to mention ,, but ib by a nose ;D

Yep Jimmy, Bruno would have been my choice too but I feel it unfair to pick one member from a whole list of candiates who all have a claim for different reasons but I still think Richard should take the prize as he is the one who's done and does all the hard work in the background and keeps a low profile.

I would like this prize to go to the member that everyone believes have most benifitted this site, this year. We should be looking for the guys who most sum up the spirit of Pigeon Basics.

 

Status, ability, experience etc doesnt come into it.

It is a shame Stu! Another fine gesture tarnish by illiterate selfish inadequate motives.

Could it be that because that they have an inferior complex – and possibly rightly so – feeling that they aren’t in with a realistic shout, hence they have to boo - hoo it!?

   Though I – as stated first of, like a couple of others,  - that I wished not to be consider, for said reason stated, I still have an interest in ‘Posters’ views and why.

Further, a class prize is up for grabs kindly donated via you Stu! So personally I think that some should shut up and let things be.

Credit where credit is due, well done Stu, and if you did with draw this offer Your name will have already had the deserved credit bestowed upon it!

i would  nominate Chris maidment 08 for the  charitable work he has done on this sight  for cancer Charity's,  he has bought birds, and given birds away to a lot of fanciers  on here, as you all know  and  at present he ain't got an equal as  of yet  lets here it for chris ;D
