mitch Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Does anyone use Solar Panels for lighting in there lofts if so how good and reliable are they
Novice Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 I don't but I had a conversation with an electrician last week who thought they would be sufficient to power a small extraction fan. He thought these about the size on these signs which tell you your speed would be about the right size.
mitch Posted January 5, 2009 Author Report Posted January 5, 2009 noticed one on a site at £40 pounds for the kit which comes with 24 superbright led lights incorporated into a linear tube,

cowman Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 why not get a solar panel that charges a 12v car battery then get some 12 strip lights like they use in caravans lights on 12v free power also use it to power your ets lol pick one up for around 16 quid on ebay we use them in the fields to keep the electric fencers charged up and work well .
