Saw the advert in this weeks BHW. Have I got the wrong end of the stick or is this another splinter group diluting National Racing further??????   If it is, why we complain about our organising bodies but its rank and file that create these clubs.

If I've got it wrong my apologies, I have no idea to the background of this.

yes it is and its called power cos some feds want to dictate and others wont have it hnce lets form our own and cause more desent in wales and the fancey   this is not a nat as it has a boundry which is not open to the whole of wales it should be called gwent nat ;D ;D ;D

Well Chris it's about time all the unions got their act together and allow only one club to be called 'national'... and they should examine the motives of these clubs when they are asked to sanction them, if they are likely to drain other clubs they should be refused.

Add on

Maybe two national clubs one North Road and one south road, neither of which allowed to change route, the south to cover se racing

there is south rd nat and north but the combine is the ultimate this is being done to cause loss of members on that side thats my opinion  its done dusted never mind meeting today  thats for show only why do you think fed website already changed to nat one ha ha ha hope they drop boll and end up broke alone and ruined no commen sense like the rpra bad peaple who are power mad

i agree it should'nt be allowed to call it self national it's only a fed at the end of day, and i think the same about the midlands national . the boys down south don't call the central southern classic a national, the up north combine boys don't call there's a national what makes' the valley and midland boys any diffrent? the only birds i would recon. as national winner's are bicc, bbc and any other country's national that is open to all of that country, but i don't look at the channel islands as part of the uk as they're in france more or less, the falklands is our's but we don't include them.

well i have no dought that it will get some members cos then they can say they won nat of 300 birds but i beleave the serious flyers in wales will not join or fly in it but its just another split  to be messed up by the ones who think they are above rules as others arethe powre mad  i could pm you names of who i think com will be and the pres but it will soon show the truth as most of us in wales already do ;D ;D ;D

Well surely it's for the WHU to not sanction and stop this happening.

Thunderboult in theory BICC & BBC ae British but tell me how do the Irish lads get their birds marked? Neither is accesable to  the majority. Even the NFC has problems with accessability. Mick Mcgrevy stated that it's up to people to get their birds there if they want to fly. Well Mick's a top guy and a great choice as Chair but I disagree with him. The NFC and others need customers and the more they do to make it accessable for their customers the better. At least with the NFC you have members competing in England, Wales and Scotland and healthy competition. Wouldn't it be great to have one National club that organised all the classic races into all the home nations! All of us competing from Tarbes and Barcelona etc. This year did I say a race advertised  the Burton on Trent National????? It's all a joke.

well as they are inviteing fanciers from sedbury to come i wonder what will turn upas sedbury is in england that aint wales

well chris i dont know where your source heard this but i didnt see or hear anyone from sedbury there...as usual people on the outside looking in giving out wrong info.....i was there and it went well.....and a few surprises ...the new national is here to stay hopefully and like any new venture it will be slammed b4 given a chance.

there was fanciers from west wales mid wales and south wales..and from what i heard could turn out to be good birdage.

members outside the welsh north road was there too.

maybe tom could put you in the picture better than me.

this is a new route , mainly south then going south east...with the furthest race of 575 mls...

wonder how much levey they wil put on members this year ha ha ha

the welsh north road put a levy on chris...the national was not in existance b4 today.

i remember the new north road giving out a levy years ago...and they had one in recent years from what i hear.

the levy that the welsh north road handed out was for baskets to fill new trailer....the new national will be carried by the welsh north road transporter.

i think its only fair that this venture is given a chance to work, just like any other.

this is a new route,  b4 we only had one french lib site now we have several and no belgium sites...so different to old route.

doesnt make a difference where you fly in wales, if you enter a  race  thats under welsh homing union rules ,you have to registra the ring numbers for racing with the whpu...this is a one off registration......its been in force for several years.

25p a ring if im not mistaken.

Fair play to them  :) , maybe some of the members on here were correct , all done and dusted before the meeting  :) just beats me how they can call it a National, but hey ho, thats life  :)

This has to be put into print now? As its a new club forming?

its all been done in the right manner, and will no doubt be in the press very soon.

lets give it a chance, im sure the boundaries will open when finance and popularity grows.

everyone has to start somewhere.

look at the new north road calling their national a national..because its open to all north road fanciers...but only around 100 birdage...at times.

i can see the new national having good birdage.
