sammy Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 i know how the man feels sending them stuff down regular as clock work and having to wait weeks for it to go into magazine, always the first page i turn to ,
Guest Vic Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 A number of posts have been removed without an apparent reason - censorship gone MAD!Are we on the PROPER BASICS? I wonder!
JADE Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 articles are certainly well worth reading. surprised he doesnt get a free copy suppose he could email his articles but he says he dont know how to wind up his computer. i`m sure the Racing Pigeon would be intetrested although i think he wrote for them before. The RP could do with some more scottish articles
Darnaway Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 I appreciate that the webmaster needs to ensure a certain standard is maintained on this site however i must register my dissapointment that my post regarding the comments from Asha were removed. I am at a loss to understand on what grounds my reply was removed from this site when i merely suggested that " Asha" was attempting to wind people up and that he could possibly take the place of Mr Harwood . In addition there was an attempt of an undertone towards Scottish Fanciers from one solitary person, in this day and age of Democracy surely an individual has the right to reply in a civilised manner ? I would be most obliged if the Webmaster could explain to everyone why my reply was removed ?

frank-123 Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 i would rather see asha comments binned the thread would make no sense if one post was removed now its a good thread on john harwood a top class scribe i will miss his writings
Darnaway Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 I totally agree that "asha,s" comments are binned however surely it would not be a problem for the webmaster to post a note to say " due to the content of this post it has been removed". That way genuine fanciers can see what is going on. Please note i appreciate why the post was removed but for the benefit of my fellow fanciers a few words from the webmaster would have gone a long way
Guest Vic Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 It was Vic who started the thread, Yet to have my first reply, defending John Harwood, totally removed, without any explanation, defeats Pigeon Basicis as we know it!
