Guest strapper Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 with this unexpected length of snow showers this last week this must be costing the bird trade thousands. with courriers losing work through not being able to deliver and pigeon feed places not having their usual trade because of lack of customers. the farmers now will no doubt increase prices on feed because its another excuse to do so, and we at the end of the line will be paying more. so the snow although welcomed in many places because of the fun that can be sought in it,we the fanciers lose out again. there is a good point to these snow showers..the kids are out for hours giving us some peace lol..thats untill they want us out there to play with them , freezing our nads off while they dont feel it...oh what its like to be growing old lol

OLDYELLOW Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 as for buying farm corns , the farmers will get greedy eventualy , but by then the price of the imported corn should be driven down because of lack of demand the market place is driven by demand take the demand away you have a buyers market great for the consumer but not so good for the retailers
