lithgilad Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 hello all during a chance meeting with fellow fanciers the topic of vaccinations came up .i was shocked to learn there is a few fanciers cheating on this subject ie not jagging but handing in false sheets.i now have doubts about this whole (sport) having already encountered a fancier keeping my birds for months then contacting me whats everyones view on this subject what happens in your club ?????? ..

PATTY BHOY Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 always better being on the safe side.
REDCHEQHEN Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 1. Someone vaccinates 2. someone witnesses - and both sign forms In our club - there is only one person who does the vaccinations - and the owner of the birds is the witness club secretary gets in touch with members who have not sent their forms in (must be in prior to March 1st) No vaccination form - no racing All members birds have to be vaccinated and you cannot do it yourself - club buys the vaccine - the charges go on your subscriptions for old birds - and you pay for young birds separate (which have to be done before June 1st)

Guest Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 jagging in full view of club should be a widespread rule or am i pushing it you might be right there but i jag my birds to protect my birds not to protect anyone else so iam not realy too bothered if the rest jag or not
lithgilad Posted February 20, 2009 Author Report Posted February 20, 2009 well i believe the usual stuff has failed tests so our birds could be at risk
joe61 Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 does go on false decloration it depends if the guy doing the jabbing is a mate or not and to say do it all members in club is ok but seeing some of ybs about nowdays i would not want mine within 100 yards of them jmo oh happy days
