Guest Owen Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 What a lot of rubbish. Here we are trying to get people to join us in the sport and there you have someone trying to make it hard for you to remain part of the Club. I have no idea why some of these officials think that they are lawyers or something. If he/she had anything about them they would want to promote harmony in the Club and not make things difficult. What a Plonker. As a matter of fact the letter is your property until it is handed over to the Club at the meeting. So therefore you are entitled to ask for your property back. Your membership should then continue as before providing you are not going to change anything, such as take a partner or change your address. I hope this helps Owen
Gail J Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 all he has to do is state that a letter of resignation from you was recieved but has since been withdrawn...no need for new letter. i would contact your union to clarify the matter and see if this is the rules. quite correct strapper although that secretary could do the decent thing and bin the letter
Guest Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 Some people are so full of p*ss and importance, and forget that there is a life outside of the rule book, and a bit of common sense wouldn't go amiss. These officials seem to forget that they were voted into that position by the members.
