chris h Posted March 10, 2009 Author Report Posted March 10, 2009 you will need to get him transferred to you first if u havent already done so ok how do i do that :-/
Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 you would need to contact the guy you got him from and ask him to fill in a transfer form or u could fill one in and just get his details then send to the appropiate union
OLDYELLOW Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 get him to send you a transfer which you fill in and send of then the ownership of the bird gets transfered
blaz Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 and when you train him train him like you would train a young bird
chris h Posted March 10, 2009 Author Report Posted March 10, 2009 get him to send you a transfer which you fill in and send of then the ownership of the bird gets transfered ok i think he got the bird from alad that died,so i do i get round that one?
OLDYELLOW Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 write to shu and give the birds number with a cover letter explaining the previous owner has died and you didnt want to trouble his family
aye ready Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 if you phone the shu and explain the situation then his secretary from his old club will sign on his behalf
blaz Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 all said and done good stock birds are hard to come buy
Guest cloudview Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 personally i would train this cock up with your young birds ,and race him next year
Guest asha Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 Hi Chris, don`t listen to all this bad advice, you can train ,then race the bird with no problems, then once it`s coming well transfer it,otherwise if you lose it early, you don`t want to have a £30 bill to have it sent back to you. :) :)you know it makes sense. If any of these t**ts on here say different, just ask them if they are willing to pay the £30 for their bad advice.

Guest monkeynuts71 Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 i thought it had to be transfered into your name to race it????

Guest kev d Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 asha mate , he can only race it as a trainner in the race other wise he can get suspended and the club will be in trouble as well . hows your breeding comming on ???, cheers kev
Guest asha Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 Well he should`nt have gave crap away, should have binned it himself, bad management+bad fancier.
Guest Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 Who can say that the fancier that gave Chriss the stock pigeon had ever transferred it from its original owner. I would not race it but certainly train it before transfer
thunderboult Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 Sorry guys,But i have to agree with asha, makes sense to me what if you was the person who gave the bird to somebody else and you was contacted to pick the bird up because it got lost. that makes sense to you does it, you must have a diffrent sense to me.lol
