Get them going , ( not the same birds ) start to finish, thats the name of the game. the thing is derick i genuinely am not interested in SPRINT races , not for years , its onlt training for when the real racing gets under way thats all. IF it was say huntingdon /wanstead flats/ maidstone, then yes i would be in like a flash.NO DOUBT ABOUT IT

Look at the best in Britain,G. Kirkland, F.Tasker, M.Gilbert, R.Williamson, G.MacAloney, J.McNeil, G.Rankin etc etc.to name just a few. All want to win every race they enter. I like to think that I compete at every race I enter, and enjoy it. If I eventually get into the Lanarkshire fed, I will purchase a handful of sprinters to compete at the early races

hotrod Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 In the Past we have had members of our club( Newmains) win the race only to be told Impossible Velocity. :-/ :-/ :-/ andy my fed glasgow is split east and west sect's the east can be up to 100 yds / min ahead in the earlier races in westerly winds , so it can be improbable vels , not impossible . it can happen and will happen again and again , it just suits certain parts in certain winds ,and some one might have the birds spot on when others are'nt as well
