I am racing natural this year due to being in my final year in school taking 16 GCSE exams, so i thought it would be the easiest way to race both cocks and hens, how would you go about feeding, and water on a saturday to saturday basis?

Thanks in advance

I would like to help you but I am an out and out widowhood flyer and I don't have a clue about natural pigeons. But what I do know for sure is that widowhood cocks take much less work than anything else. Obviously there is a level of skill needed to get the best out of them but once you get used to it they require much less work. All the successful natural flyers I know work hard at training not to mention all the work to get the birds to exercise. I hope that helps. And if you want to know how to feed widowhood cocks, I can help you there.

read the walker & wilson article by bill wortley (the best scribe in any of the papers) in last weeks rp. they do loads of training though so dont think it would suit the time you have available. in my opinion its unlikely you would have much success at club level flying natural but after 400 miles anything is possible

i topped the welsh north road fed flying natural and 22yrds in front of the next bird.

widowhood maybe the system that beats most but get a bird right and they can surprise you.

a m8 of mine has topped the fed 7? times on different routes flying natural.

ive raced natural since starting 12years a go and have no intention of changing. :)

sid miles of peasedown st john allway a hard man to beat at any distance says he prefers natural but you have got to train them widowhood gives u more time to yourself as you dont desturb them and you try to keep them quite natruals you need to study to see what they fly to best be it driving / sitting eggs or feeding young

Ben, I suggest you race, Widowhood, and race the cocks every week, save the hens, there's always next year when your studies are over, simplest way for you I think m8, good luck, both with your birds and your studies ;)
