Hello Bandit.

Whatever the brand of ETS, a compatible printer is needed.

If a printer is suitable for one brand, then it is compatible with any brand.

Forget about the term DOS, as this is in itself an old unused term.

A printer for ETS needs to have

(i). A Parallel port

(ii). A print emulation of PCL6

It is incorrect that these printers are antiquated.

Printers with these specifications are relatively easy to find, as longer as you don't just go to your average PC World, which only stock low specification cheap printers suitable for kids bedrooms.

You will find the required specifications on Laser printers that are the second or third level in that brands list of available printers. The cheapest printers are precisely that, cheap printers with limited specifications.

PCL6 means that the printer can compose its own page, rather that rely on a computer to do the composing for it. Obviously a ETS Club Master is not a computer therefore it needs PCL6 to be contained onboard the printer.

The best option at this moment in time is probably the BROTHER HL-5240L (at £89 + vat) available from http://www.printerbase.co.uk. This printer also currently gives a 3 year warranty as a special offer.

The Bricon system will operate with any Printer that has a Parallel port and a print language of PCL6.

It would seem that information given out by myself on the matter has already been re-posted here.

The smallest laser printer available at present that is compatible is the OKI B2400 which weighs in a less than 5 kg and is around half the size of most laser printers.

Best regards
