Kieran McDoo Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 I dont know if any body has seen their pigeons do this but me and my dad hadn't - until now- well the pigeon was my second winner (yb) and it picked up a bit of straw and instead of dropping or taking it to his nest he flew around with it for about an hour before returning to the loft :-/ :-/

hotrod Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 my birds have always done this as far back as i can remember ,its quite funny to watch them flying around with sometimes a bit of straw about 18inches long, and welcome to the site keiran mac doooooooo.

DJ Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 yeh ive seen one of my birds do this kieran, he flies up to the house roof then back down to the garden/loft and then does a few laps of honour but i dont know why he does it- maybe its the pigeon equivalent of weight lifting and hes saying ,look at the size of this twig, it must weigh all of an ounce, beat that :) ;D ;D
