Why do some fanciers think that new introductions from belgium or say holland need to be crossed or given time to acclimatise before they can win in this country.I know of pigeons brought from belgium that have won straight away in scotland dont u think there are too many old wifs tales told in this game.

I agree Frank i went to Belgium in Feb and i would not give house room to 99% of the y/b's i see there.

However i do think some times it can take a year for new stock to settle to bred there best y/b's

Very true, and good to have you back.

But that Frank is also  - unfortunately very true of the Home 'Names' too I fear.
