what do you think got a stray reported to day . no phone number so jumped in my car went thur knocked on door the lad answered told him who i was   had a look he said the bird out  on the roof , asked if he could try and call her in said no  he was eating his lunch  so i said i would call back sunday , got a phone call later to say bird was not there ?

Call the police and make an official complaint. If you believe someone has your property and have any proof they need to act. They will have to go and check the ring numbers.

i would go when its nearly dark, the bird will be back in the loft so he can't say its on the roof!
