Lets just be thankful for small mercies. Plenty of time for distance, 4 channel races and 2 others over 330. Lets see how we stand after these races :-/

Guest KING BILLY Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 you no and i no after 200mls the fedb dosent need 2 transporters because the birds are just not thare with this fed and three genrations of birds that have not bean by towlow 107mle start the doos up race them young birb program to 107mls breed of them the next year stop them at 200 as yearlings breed of them again and send the 2year olds by 200mls in a nw wind non left the three genration thin thanks to the mittie lanarkshire fed thare are only a hand fill of members in each club that will ever complet the program never mind the nationel races you can put it down to breding manigment but i think if the birds as young and yearlings got that bit further then who nose i am not having a dig at the fancers just the fed and jitttttttttery jim and co
Guest bigda Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 I hope it will never be that bad that we only get that amount of birds. :-/ no hope not, but no ones bothered, that the peregrine can eat 21 pigeons a week, just the one, and there are 60,000 in the UK no wonder only half there teams return :-/

Guest KING BILLY Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 its grrate thars no peregrins when whe fly up to 107 mls in tale wins every buddys all home 4 races whe have had and no mention of auld persey he must be wating at the 200ml mark with his fork and knives out

I think alot of these birds were 2 year olds and they all had the same 100 miles races as ybs . I think we should look at alot of the best birds weve ever had and we will discover that alot of them had very little racing as ybs.
Guest KING BILLY Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 gareth me and jim get on ok its a good bit of crak but i dont no y thay cant tell the members after thay have changed the race point and just the so caled in the no chaps y

Guest WINGS 04 Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 i think wakefield is getting punted it is down to 8/1 from 33/1 ;)
budgie Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Pigeons can jump 400mls if Healthy and Bred in the Purple. The late Ian McGhie had a cracking Blue Hen he Called Amber who went on to Win 2,3,& 4th West Sect Snfc Sartilly and Top Open positions. Each year she had 1 race which was the May Day Race 60mls then jumped.Lets not forget the 98% Shi-e rule and dont be afraid to jump or you will be left with a Dookit full of Sh-t which you will then breed from and some will even sell. ;) ;)King Billys coments are unfounded with regards to the Controller as he has only the best interests of the pigeons and their safe return. ;)
