In my experience good fanciers are always good fanciers, and can only beat who they compete with, where ever they fly. But the ones that i have known that achieve regular great multiple results in a good competitive area are rarely a lot of minutes in between their birds at the front from races upto 200 miles. Its usually down to good team flying with most of their early birds coming together or within seconds, and not minutes apart as some of their results are. I would'nt question the macs themselves but maybe the calibre of the competition they fly against, and how a good a location it is compared to them fellow fanciers.

location has a lot to do with results in earley racing but he is not the only one in that area and if you look at the big piture and take in his falise result and madston results in 07 were i was second to him you got to give the team the respect it deserves  and thay go to every race hail or shine

Once the man told me "if I have second prize then I have no garden furniture left"

"why not " I asked.

"because I kick the legs off it" was the answer.

That is an example of the man's motivation.

You can rest assured that during the racing season he will not be indoors talking rubbish on a P.C.

This year I seem to have the ability to win races and talk rubbish.

Entered  3 and won 3 but not much honour as the club is shrinking rapidly.

I am only on line to check the weather to see how best I can support the fed and leave myself some fresh birds for later-----but I thought I would let the Lanarkshire lads entertain me.
