Can anybody help?

We have noticed on results sheets (UNIKON) that sometimes the Master Strike time on the result sheet sometimes has an "M" at the side of it.

Some members have told me this is because it has been set Manually, however I can confirm, after setting it myself, and the UCS finding its own eletronic signal prior to basketing that this is not the reason.

Plus, after reading the documentation, you literraly have to key in the Hours, Minutes & Seconds in order to set it manully.  And I have never done that !, wouldnt dream of it been the club seccy.

Any thoughts?, or, has anybody noticed this before?

Got this on a couple of members sheets this week but cant explain why it happens as its definatly not because I set it manually but that is what UNIKON says it is.

Well thanks Tony.  Good to know we are not the only ones having this problem.  Did you by any chance have two races set at the same time?

ive been using unikon for 2 years now and ive never had one bit of trouble or had a dodgy ring. they are the best thing that has ever happened for pigeon racing as i just sit and watch them time themselfs in

No mate this is something that often happens, wether it could be that the radio signal is lost for a while I dont know but I,ve noticed this on members sheets a few times, and I,m like you never set the time manually.

there are people who dont no how to work the system as i do them every week and no trouble. so that answers your reply. our club has 12 members with ets and every pigeon goes through every week without a hitch and every sheet is assigned and when race is over the race is closed and result sheet is given to members

Dont even know why the same post keeps comign up that I have made.

Sorry Guys its not me !

Anyway, in reply to the kwango.  We know how to use Unikon.  Its very simple.  Even you you could use it without making yourslef look stupid.  If we cant get a signal, we even go outside until we do, then start basketing.

But still I dont have an answer to my original question, but have met guys who have had the same problem, and we are all adamant they have not set manually.  So whats the answer?, what does that "M" stand for?.....am sure you can all think of many.

"Polite answers only please"

I,M surprised KWANGO as not given us the answear as he seems to know how to use the system properly,LOL,I have a list of differant  codes that can come up on the basketing sheets or clocking sheets,LCM is another that comes up on occasions but the letter M it says,Means that the master timer was manually set ie.(a radio clock was not used).

Hi Kwango

You are a very lucky man long may it continue

Dodgy rings

No data

Bird already marked or not assigned

It just goes on & on
