swilcox Posted May 27, 2009 Report Share Posted May 27, 2009 This is quite an important weekend for my distance pigeons as i have entered 16 in the CSCFC St Nazaire race which is 300 miles, this will be there final stepping stone to Tarbes. Having checked the forecast there are upto 28 miles an hour east winds in the Channel and being that St Nazaire is already way to the right of France it spells a disatstor to me. paul k Posted May 27, 2009 Report Share Posted May 27, 2009 Weve looked at the strong East winds and come to the same conclusion Stuart, living here in Reading and flying in the classic is hard enough, without that sort of wind against them so have decided to give it a miss, and will keep them home for the NFC next week.
