Guest Owen Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 I saw a big seagull kill and eat a feral pigeon. I was told that it made a habbit of it. But even that was not as bad as those damned Sparrowhawks.

blaz Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 pound to a penny says that the pelicans in this park are in for a hard time.as their has got to be a lot of pigeon fanciers flying birds in that area. i know if it was in my neck of the woods it would be getting a very hard time. nice for the kids to see on their day in the park feeding the ducks. if it takes pigeons it will take any birds that size. ie young ducks coots moor hen etc
little sam Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 The pelican dies eventually it was on a news chanel once
Roland Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 You know, in reality, the post here are crap! Factual and true! :o So what a pelican eats a few pigeons! No bleeding heart here, so what a pelican eats the odd pigeon here and there! So what... Get real and grow up, BOP are eatin 100's, if not 1000's a day, but just who gives a sh**? No bleeding hearts here, who gives a sh**? obviously not those that care and want an end to it!!! BOPS are killing and eating over half a million birds a day!!! Who cares? obviously not those that should!!!
