Ronnie Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Just had a phone call to tell me this weeks first youngbird race has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. to say i'm a bit peeved is an understatement i know most will disagree with me but i believe the birds shouldve been sent and if bad either held over or brought back.(i thought it was just showers this weekend) I have a feeling there is more to this than just weather forcast maybe certain peoples birds were not ready. still ive said enough allready .
pigeonpete Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 I have always thought south west cheshire yb program to early mate, and for first race i can see there point of view, Will the old hens race be next week aswell?

I know where ya coming from pete about early season but some of us have trained with the weather in mind there was 50quid prize in our club for first race so ive trained my birds when i wouldve of left them at home normally also cancelled a weekend away for it and to get told on thursday when ive paired some youngsters with birds i couldve sent Niort just really winds me up.
