fantastic competition for all the members involved, 1st fed from 850 birds or 1st amal from 5,000 plus  surely a no brainer. best of luck with getting it up and running.

I don't understand why people are so concerned with the Central Scotland feds. If you are in possesion of any old results you will see that the Central Scotland feds competed very well in this Amal when it was last up and running,   Even winning it :P

So why did the SCC fail? Still think its a shame as it was the only organisation that didn't cost anything to join and gave the guys in the centre 3 races a year.Shame to see its now relegated to a duplicate race.

My dad's still got the BHW front cover picture of Andrew Fleming's "Something Special" hanging up in his shed 3x top 10 SCC from the channel.Thats what the Combine meant to some of the small fanciers in our area.

the combine is still going they are at falais today, it is only down to 3 feds now north west, central and midland.

tommy blair of stirling won the amalgamation, not sure what race though.
