gangster Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 only a guess but have you sprayed anything on the garden??
kipper Posted April 6, 2009 Author Report Posted April 6, 2009 have only lived here 10 months , i dont know if the previuos owner did.
pjc Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 did you notice them pecking any particular plants as certain plants will cause sickness?
kipper Posted April 6, 2009 Author Report Posted April 6, 2009 they were picking at plants , some purple coloured ones a bit like nettles. just had a look at them , they are not being sick anymore but just look a bit sorry for themselves.
pjc Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 hopefully they have cleaned there system out but it would be an idea to remove the plants they have been pecking at to prevent it happening again. Give them some greens in the loft to peck at as they may be lacking in something

Tony C Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Had you fed them just prior to them spewing? Were the grains they spewed up swollen or still in their solid state?
