Big Week For Clashing

With the Welsh and West of England Combines now going a fair way across Southern England (Probaly 20,000 plus birds) and the Midlands and NW combines down to the coast and the South East boys down the leg i fear tomorrow could be a real tester with regards to clashing, lets hope there is a bit of co-ordination!!!!

unlikely to get coordination, as normal the feds will pick the best slot for themselves and expect others to follow.

I think you will find it is a unwritten rule at the race points that the fed flying the furthest goes first,believe me convoyers at the same race point do stick to this,it also happens if you dont go when your told to you miss your slot and have to wait until last.

Stu., N.W.Combine not at the coast till 3 weeks time. The L'pool Amals., last three races, are Frome , this week. Then 2 races with the the Combine to complete the yb programme' from Wincanton and Portland. Never had so easy a yb season, only 2 lost from racing and training, from 35 starters.  But it's a funny old game, sometimes! Goodluck, Vic!

When there at the same point then yes, they sort it between them but how many check other liberations.

Week in, week out i watch lib times being posted on here and every time can work out which are going to clash with birds coming into wales.

You know as well as me mate that with all the liberations that take place on saturday there is bound to be clashing I would think it nigh on impossible that it wont happen,plus it doesnt help when feds change their race programme and dont bother to let any others know.

another change, South West Wales, changed from Guildford to Swindon and from Sun to Sat lib, just to help confusion!

Kind of mad really when you think about it, tomorrow there will probably 10,000 times more birds than planes in the skies over UK and Ireland, the planes will be coordinated by hundreds of traffic controllers but the birds will be coordinated by whom?

 

I know planes clashing is a bit more castrophic than birds, but i hope you see what i mean!
