Just a thought

Lanarkshire can and should buy 1 New transporter and then limit all members to 25 birds up to 250 miles then unlimited after that

Have 3No 100 mile races at the start of the programme from centre point of the country then the birds can go anywhere say 150mile then 200mile then 250 mile there u have 6 races out to 250mile I am not saying u only have to keep 25 old birds but u can use the 1st 3 races to get them going and will put the price of the birdage down and not have 2 no transporters going to a race point 1 full and the other wil only 12 baskets which happens regular the fed is not meant to be a profitable business its meant to be for the fanciers and mosts importantly the birds welfare

Just 3 weeks mate. 25 x 3 races is 75 birds. So if you had 100 it would take 4 weeks to race them all 100 miles. Not worst idea. Midlothian have 5 races before near 100 miles. Yes birds are raced every week but 5/6 races to reach 100 miles  :-/ :o

it will help if you made it a £1 a bird and the extra money you got in would help to pay for a second one take it out on tic  then you could send 40 birds per race  Â£6.000 pound per race  if the 2 transporters are full   there is nothing wrong in that for the  first 8 races then up the money  to £2-50 per bird and go to the races on our own   ;) ;)

you have missed my point 97% of the fed members dont have 50 old birds to race and if they did they can make the best of them they dont have to go every week they have three races to get them ready and after 200mls we only ever need 1 transporter anyway there is a lot of the fed dont go after 250mls so whats the prob ? are you in the fed and you wont have 60 birds after 3x 100ml races not unles your in edinburgh fed the one eye gunners
