put the birds back to your ear if its respiritry you wil here its lungs inflate / deflate if crackly its got respiritry  :) best to se a vet tylan seems to be the medication for respirity  :)

id look at opening the loft up at bit warm weather can bring this on in birds ;) also the dust off droppings ;) i have put a mesched door on my stock also will be doing same for ybs ;)

tho if not it mite be sour crop if the stuff that came out is smelly!! but treat for respitory anyway! as long as you dont treat often it does them no harm!!!

with sour crop it usualy makes them hold corn but the parasite that causes respirity will make its lungs inflamed and the liquid could be due to the inflamation and infection  :)

tricky one to answer! i wouldnt say it was respitory, may have a touch of it now, sounds like sour crop to me or canker! so there is 3 possibles! so we cant blind treat. are any other birds affected? what do the ybs look like? what about the hen? cheers

the sour smell, indicates to me sour crop! is he an old pigeon? has he bred alot of young this year? could have been brought on by stress? if his crop still has some liquid in it try and squeeze the rest out! then just keep him on his own, with just water, and see how he is tom! has he lost any weight?

lost no weight pete . this is his second round . he has always been a nervy pigeon since i got him . hes a 2 yr old .

why is he in the stock loft if you dont mind me asking? have you bought him? is his box in a draught or anything different than the others? may just be he has had a bit of damp corn? see how he is tommorow, and keep an eye on the young, and put cider vinegar in water of other birds, until you have a clearer picture!
