PIGEON_MAN Posted September 29, 2009 Report Share Posted September 29, 2009 Is anyone going to this sale on Sunday,I,m travelling up to Durham on Sunday and have a couple of hours to spare before I come back so thought I would call in and have a look.Does anyone fly against this guy or know anything about the birds. Guest j.bamling Posted September 29, 2009 Report Share Posted September 29, 2009 i fly against davy in the Durham Combine he has some very impressive performances from a good location but thats not taking anything away from the guy he has won more in a short period than a lot would win in a lifetime having seen the sale list he has some outstanding pigeons mainly busschearts from various sources but & i think it will be a big but i think the pigeons will make silly money far more than the pigeons are worth !!! but i hope the sale goes well for the lad his entire clearance is through personal problems Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

addidas Posted September 29, 2009 Report Share Posted September 29, 2009 I know davey fairly well travelled back from blackpool with him last year. i used to fly against him in the upnorth combine when he flew in the marquise. good lad. good birds definatley worth haveing a look at. I have a feeling that these birds wont make the money they should. without being disrespectful i think alot of fliers in the uk dont give good fliers up here in the northeast the credit they deserve. especially if they dont fly in the wda or the upnorth. Managed to go and have a look for about 1 1/2 hours,3 highest birds when I was there went for £1000,£900 and £700,most were fetching between 1 + 2 hundred.
