Guest uphallhen Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 There is no disputing the fact that wee Mac is one of the finest fanciers around. But he still has the most favourable loft location in the fed.Suppose that is why he chose to live there, he knows his stuff.well it's not favourable to him down the west, is it vincent.
sammy Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 well it's not favourable to him down the west, is it vincent. The Morgan family raced pigeons from were the macs stay before i was born and they flew in the midland fed from the west side of country and had much the same succes so dont think cause one year they never had much succes that the west dont suit them then yir a bigger FOOL than what i think you are and have a lot to learn about pigeons and also HOW GOOD A PIGEON MEN THAT THE MACALONEYS ARE

duncandoo Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 the fed delegates meeting is this week for the race program i think that we have to forget this east west debate and set a program down the middle of the country with alternative race points to the east and west of centre if the weather is bad east or west its the birds welfare that is first and not east and west politics maybee if we are alternating racepoints during the season people might change there minds and put the birds welfare first we need change and it needs to be now we cannot keep losing birds the way we are now
Guest bigda Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 get your race program written down then, alternatives but would like to know what side we are going down before i send the birds as early as possible, as there are horses for courses
duncandoo Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 we would know the distance does it really matter if it is left right or centre
Guest bigda Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 we would know the distance does it really matter if it is left right or centre yep what happens when there is no room at the inn and do you pay site fees just in case to all three on the day
Delboy Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 we would know the distance does it really matter if it is left right or centre I agree with you m8, as long as it only applied to races over 150 miles
duncandoo Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 i was told by the powers that be that to change the lib point and travel to a new one would cost one hundred and sixty pounds i recon less than a dollar a head for a good race for our birds i would pay a lot more if i was guaranteed a good race and good returns
Guest Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 the furthest east fliers have the best location, is mac furthest east? Sorry Del i should have said favourable instead of most favourable. But did state that they are top class pigeon fanciers.

Guest bigda Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 would have to agree on paper fine but should we move from one site to the other and disaster still strikes its then am smarter than you stuff hard call and the number one choice site when dose that not become the race point after the first day on the day or where the better race is on the day or the next day as sunday could be the better day but in the west
celtic tiger 1 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 mr duncan doo have you got a program too and would you put this program up so i can see these centre points.
chrissyboy Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I think bigda should take on race control(Or is it weather controller), he has a good grasp of technology and he has all those years of experience . I say Bigda for the job. Ps I thought the race programme was set for the next two years, whats the point of racing youngsters down one side of the country and then change it ? Tom Corrie jnr

Tom Corrie jnr hi tom great idear the storys i have been told off my comrads in carluke is yous have no yearling left to fly so go make a fresh start and fly the west if yous have any left they will take a nervoues break doon if yous go east.
duncandoo Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 east west or centre makes no differance to me as long as the races are in steady graduated steps and not twenty miles one week and sixty the next the english feds fly east west north and south we are stuck in the rutt we need to pull our deads out and get on with it the east coast route was just as bad if not worse than the west this year

Guest Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 It is alright saying we can chop and change route as it suits, i might be wrong as far as this is concerned but do licences not have to be in place weeks in advance of any liberation.?????????????
