Guest frank dooman Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 can you post how you got the average, i added the ages of flying members and devided that by the no of fanciers =3x80 +3x65 +1x54 +1x45 = 534 divided by8 = 66.75 this should give us an idea how long we have got left in the sport!

ron123 Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 i think all members in each club should ask at least 2 people they know with pets ect to be at there loft when racing or tossing birds to show them the excitement of the sport and even give them abird to race in there loft then slowly get them involved and join with help. what yea think more new blood ay
Guest frank dooman Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 great ideas and from new starters maybe we should make any new members in our clubs in charge of getting people interisted in our sport new blood and keen well done
Guest bakes Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 thats a start yep he a good lad mate took him to see a few of my mates that fly in club i will be in next season his face said it all when my mate was letting him hold some of his racers and good stock birds. will be good crack two lofts nest door to each other abit of friendly banter come race day just hope i can keep him interested i think he will enjoy come race day and he's round mine watching the pigeons come back.
