Right i have a question for everyone who is a member of Lanarkshire fed on here what do you think re our fed getting or not getting a new transporter ( i only mean the 1 as i know we cant afford what we need for all our races ) Now the point i want to make here is we all know we have a few bob in the bank so if we dont vote to go for at least 1 new transporter at our AGM i for 1 will be putting forward every member in the fed gets their dues paid for the coming season as what is the point in being the richest fed in Scotland if the money is sitting in the bank doing naf all???? Time to look after the members if they vote not to use the money for transporters me thinks

ill second  that alf  it cost  roughly 20,000  to ferry the birds   what about 2 free years birdage  also

they should buy a giraldy it is under seven and a half tons so anyone with a older driving licence could drive it and i am sure we could get volanteers to drive it .some saving on a contract driver

it would be a start,  and get a trailer  for  it,  then  ask the members  who want in it to pay  5p a bird  more for the   next  purchase  the saving from transporting would help   get another one  all the quicker  ;D

So do you think we should keep on being the richest fed in Scotland Rab without paying out for new transporter (s)???  If they wont spend the money on new wagons it has to be spent on something else to benefit the members

Well my thought's are why should we have all that money in the bank if we are'nt going to use it to buy anything let's use it to subsidise the members for dues and for transport ;)

the fed do need to do something about transportasion but letting members off with there dues dosent sort the problem we r back to square 1 (transport the birds)

just get it made to suit   a flat bed truck and hire it for six months ,  lift of body type  with trailer
