Hi Gareth, now that is a top top program and I take my hat off to you, that is I would say the best national distance program in the UK having said that if you fly the NFC to the North of England you have similar distances I would think, the BICC has similar capability but is much more an 'elite' club in my opinion, are those Fraserburgh distances or yours?

 

Alan those distances are to Fraserburgh,

I fly around 70-110 miles shorter than those from Fraserburgh depending on whether the racepoint is to the East or West of France.

Two 600 milers terrific, wish we had them in our program, but when you live way down south, that's the problem, mind youdevon's beautiful place to live but the most difficult I've had to fly to and I've flown north rd to S Wales and south road to Yorkshire, neither with distinction may I add)!

king billy you are right about you cant compare day birds by second day birds ive put a good few posts on here why the SNFC CANT LET THE BIRDS GET A FIGHTING CHANCE TO REACH THERE GOAL IN A WONER ALL BIRDS IN THE RACE SHOULD HAVE A  CHANCE TO DO IT ON THE NIGHT IF POSSIBLE why are they not getting this chance to do it on the day it appears if one bird can be given the chance to get home on the day the rest of the convoy should also after all it is a national because king billy these north birds can do it if given the chance ; 8)jim @ann 8) donaldson for me is best 8) he widna manage withoot the better half 8)

your bang on walter  jim and anne have been and still are the tops but there are also other good guys if they lived further south would really do well you aint no slotch your self you have put up some great performances also as have irvin buchaen  davy perie  and there are others as good

Quite hard to give all birds the chance to do it on the day especially at over 600 mls

 

when some birds in the south are flyng 100+ mls less especially in a north wind.

 

when they are only getting birds in the soth at 9pm not much chance of birds getting into the north.

 

easier to stop all birds on day with late lib  .

Walter what im saying even if you had a 5am lib and it was a hard one and birds dont get into the south till late , its not likly to get birds in the north on the day realistically.

 

But yes the earliest lib gives more chance.

KING BILLY come on surly not for 40 but billy you known what ive seen the birds held over early enough ie 6am but the forcast  was good for next day they  were still nt let up early the truth hurts but its not a fair playing field come on am i the only one that thinks the birds are not getting a fair chance if you can time them in at 4.30 am surly weather permitting get them up at 5 am every boady can log into google to see weather

stb your right with north wind all birds are  out but surly that is fair all up together all down together for  t here not flyin north at 10 30pm so right away 1/2 hour flying time hits the fan

so if whe cant get them up at 5am day of race because of bad codistions but its going to clear at 9am you would waight to the next day for the 5am lib so every bird gets a fair chance to home on the day you could be thare for a week or more
