pjc Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 you must empty the crop first though before giving tab.

Guest Owen Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 The bird is obviously ill. The question for you is what is making it ill and how many more of your birds are suffering from the same thing, but not so far advanced. It could be anything from a foriegn body in the crop to serious canker. You need the birds to have a proper and thorough examination. Start with the crop and have a swab test done to check for canker. It is no good playing guessing games because the time is going on and you need some answers quickly. The problem you could face is that the birds may not be able to breed properly and something like this can ruin any chance of them racing well. If I were you I would get to a Vet tomorrow or else get someone with experience and a microscope to check your birds. But don't wast time asking people on this Forum to guess for you. They can not be expected to get it right. Can they?
