I hope it dosent come to much , the thaw s been great the last few days , it melted about 2ft of snaw from the back compund so not so bad now.

The Met Office has said there is a high risk of a severe weather event affecting much of Southwest England along with southern and central Wales.

 

Rain will turn to snow as it moves northeastwards through Tuesday and the first part of Wednesday. Fresh snow accumulations of 2-5cm are expected widely away from south coast with locally 10-15cm mainly over hills. There is a low risk of 15-25cm over the hills of southeast Wales. Strong southeasterly wind is likely to lead to drifting of snow.This could cause disruption to travel networks and lead to problems with power lines.

I have just had a look at the snow. Here at Talywaun near Pontypool we have a thick covering of the darned stuff. There will not be much moving in the morning. Boy! am I fed up with this.
