Guest JonesyBhoy Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 dont no what you mean whats lugs bits,????exsplain The GB rings have a bit for an ets insert.. but the Belge rings dont.. therefore the RPRA are saying they cant be raced in RPRA races.. So ive heard the SU rings dont have the ets insert either.. so im wanting to know if this is true and will SU rings be allowed to be used by RPRA registered members..
Guest JonesyBhoy Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 if your that desperate to find oot phone the shu office sorted ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I thought with the copious amount of 'KNOW ALLs' on here getting a straight answer wouldn't be so hard... :X :X :X

So ive heard the SU rings dont have the ets insert either.. so im wanting to know if this is true and will SU rings be allowed to be used by RPRA registered members.. Wrong! The 2010 Belg rings don't have a metal insert in the middle of the ring, nothing to do with ets inserts!

Guest JonesyBhoy Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Wrong! The 2010 Belg rings don't have a metal insert in the middle of the ring, nothing to do with ets inserts! Well thats all someone had to say at the start..!!!!

mark croker Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 The belg rings are all plastic, GB have a tin inner as long as SU rings have the tin inner of the ring they can be raced in the rpra

Havnt got rings yet so havnt seen them . I THINK IF I HAD BROUGHT IN A FEW BIRDS TO RACE THAT HAD BELG OR SHU RINGS I WOULDNT BE A HAPPY CAMPER IF I WAS TOLD I COULDNT RACE THEM. Dont think that would happen m8
hotrod Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Wrong! The 2010 Belg rings don't have a metal insert in the middle of the ring, nothing to do with ets inserts! now i know whats been got at ,so have the the rpra not passed these rings without the metal internal piece ?

pjc Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 now i know whats been got at ,so have the the rpra not passed these rings without the metal internal piece ? Only rings with metal insert/sleeve will be accepted to race, it excludes some other country rings as well as the Belgiums!
gulkie Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 i have birds with the shu rings on that where on trial in 09 and they are not the same as belg rings, because i have the belg rings as well and had to race them with ets rings to . :-/ :-/
mark croker Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 People say you can boil the belg rings and fit them on old birds, then race them as young birds, i tried this last year for a young cock that i was to late to ring, the plastic ring got contourted and cooled before i got it near the bird, never mind putting a boiling hot ring on one of my birds, i think it is all a farce

hotrod Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Only rings with metal insert/sleeve will be accepted to race, it excludes some other country rings as well as the Belgiums! thanx mate i was thinkin about maybe buying a pair from natural breeding station for racing as i have done once or twice in the past just to try something new but i wont now ,this will affect NBS big time (as well as other studs)and also the europa race as a lot of venturer birds come from the NBS.
