Just to let the site know, that as from Tuesday 20th January 2010, i withdrew my offer to be Fife Federations PRO. I have informed president Gordon Turnbull, of my decision. This comes on the back of being classed as a "BACK STABBER" within 4 hours of the agm ending, and also being a topic of conversation at Blackpool, again being classed as a "BACK STABBER". The people that were involved in this met me face to face, but didnt have the decency (or balls) to put these allegations to me. I am not going to put myself forward to be someone else's target for abuse and bullying. Again a minority ruins it for the majority. I apologise if i have caused any upset regarding the pro position. I will now continue to keep out the limelight and concentrate on building a team of pigeons that i so enjoy. Yours alex wight.

Aye it's a pity that some can't see the trees for their heeds. They don't want the job yet they turn on them that do, this is the same in any sport and I have been involved in sports committees at levels for over 30 years. Scotland and in particular Fife and the central west has always been troubled areas for infighting and falling out

dovey ur no the first ti be let down that way mate it cost them a member about 3 years ago  same  thing

 

Well I hope to sort some things out at my club AGM and clear up a few issues, first thing I discovered they had my house number wrong hence I never got any mail from club, federation etc despite applying to join them on a business letterhead with all my info on it.

I was in a way partly to blame as I joined as a partnership with Billy and when he died just before the racing season I lost interest but I still should have got information from my club.

I will do my best to sort out these problems and move on as best as I can

Sorry to hear this Alex as i'm sure you would have put great effort into the job of promoting Fife's finniest,

 

It's sad but when you take any job with in the sport you can expect to feel a few boots going into you at some point and this is were you have to have very thick skin.

sorry to hear it alex as i know you would of done a sterling job sad realy sad . alex the best way to answer them is by humping them with your doos to give them plenty to write about your performances . hope this makes you more determined to do well with the doos . wish you the best of luck and hope you have the season of a lifetime robbie.
